Army got greater share in budget, navy and air force get the short end of the stick

Business Standard, 6th March 16 Military planners have noted that their share of overall government expenditure has shrunk over the last two years from 13.15 per cent to 12.6 per cent, going by the traditional basis of calculation, which excludes defence pensions from the defence budget.
